Charlton Family Centre provides much needed support, childcare and training to families based in Charlton and the surrounding areas.

The Family Centre provides a happy, safe and secure environment for children aged under five in day care and sessional care facilities.

We are looking for a warm, keen and enthusiastic cleaner to join our staff team who provide education and care in a stimulating environment to the children.

Qualification required:

Ability to maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment .Ability to follow line management instructions. Ability to manage own time and prioritise tasks. Good communication and listening skills with a friendly, flexible approach.

Main duties would include the following:

To maintain a safe, clean & healthy environment. Follow cleaning checklists as directed. To regulate cleaning materials and collate orders as appropriate and ensure these are stored securely and safely but with available access to staff. To liaise with nursery staff regarding health and safety requirements.

Be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of a busy nursery. Be able to work as part of a team, but also be able to use own initiative. To keep up to date with current good practices in cleaning. All staff are offered regular supervisions and appraisals.
