The ideal candidate will be either an experienced English Teacher who is able to confidently teach English up to A level or a NQT who can teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English. You will be working with a mixture of age groups who differ greatly in ability and therefore will need to be able to adapt lessons to suit students ability levels. The school are looking for a highly organised and passionate English Teacher who will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons as well as using technology to bring lessons to life.

The Secondary school has gone through rapid transition and is now performing at a good level. In spite of this there are students who demonstrate more challenging behaviour and as such having good techniques and the confidence to control the classroom is essential. The students at this school need a Teacher who is going to challenge them and push them to reach their potential.

The English Department is very strong, with an excellent Leader who is a highly skilled and an excellent English Language and Literature Teacher.
