Finance Reporting Assistant

JOB PURPOSE


A Financial reporting assistant is responsible for providing financial reports to the Hospital Director/Finance & Operation manager and Heads of Departments in order to grow the Business from analysing past data, understanding trends and planning for the future.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/ACTIVITIES


A list of the main accountabilities and deliverables in the role the Financial reporting assistant will be responsible for providing the business with financial reports covering Generated Revenue/Conversion rates/Analysing Consultant data etc. Assisting the Finance & Operations Manager preparing and submitting the Hospitals weekly forecast to Central team, involving speaking with NHS and Self Pay teams and analysing past trends.


Heavy use on Microsoft Excel. Analysing data by combining information from various spreadsheets, formatting spreadsheets, creating pivot tables, filters and formulas.


Assisting Head of Departments with setting up spreadsheets when needed.


Developing new reports and participating actively in the enhancement of the current ones.


Collaborate with Business Admin department in raising invoices, answering queries, bank reconciliations and charging.


QUALITIES NEEDED:


Good IT skills (Will be using Microsoft Outlook, Heavy use on Microsoft Excel and SAP)


The post holder must be good at Microsoft Excel and should be able to create Pivot tables/Basic formulas/formatting spreadsheets/look up information from various spreadsheets


Time management is key as you will be responsible for managing your time to provide reports to different areas of the Business,


Self motivated, Autonomous worker


Organisational skills


Well presented


Professional attitude


This is a contracted job that will begin on 22/2/2016 and will end on 22/8/2016 (may be extended.)
