Distribution Sales Account Manager


Location: Croydon, Surrey
Salary: Up to £21000, DOE + Commission
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic motivated to succeed, target driven Sales Executive within our company. We are a well-established Office Equipment and Print Solutions Company based in Croydon, Surrey and we have been trading for over 20 years. We are looking for the right person to join our high achieving ambitious sales team.


In the role of sales executive you will be responsible for:


  • Integrating into a thriving office environment. It will involve making sales calls to generate new business leads, booking appointments, following up on warm leads and dealing with inbound sales queries from both new and existing clients.

  • Maintaining and developing our existing client base, actively seeking opportunities to cross sell, increase volume and spend

  • Actively source and develop new business/revenue streams

  • Marketing – keep clients up to date with the latest offers, promotions and pricing with the ability to construct and have ownership of their own marketing campaign

  • Researching, generating, qualifying and following up leads

  • Researching sources for developing prospective customers

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Previous business to business sales experience is essential

  • Proven track record in developing business

  • Proven ability to deliver sales targets

  • Strong negotiation and account management skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Career minded and ambitious

  • Ability to think on their feet, with a quick thinking mentality

  • Tenacious with vision

  • Exceptional personal standards in everything from telephone manner to customer service proposition
