Job Title: MANDARIN speaking AVIATION SPECIALIST (Banking) – AVP/Senior Officer
Skills: Fluent Mandarin, corporate banking business development or credit analysis experience.
Salary: £45k + bonus + benefits
Location: London
Status: Permanent
Reporting to: Head of Corporate Banking Department

In this new role you will develop the Bank’s corporate banking business in the aviation industry

Your responsibilities will include:

• Establish and maintain relationships with the Bank’s target corporate customers
• Cross sell different corporate banking products including loan, deposit, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance, RMB business, etc
• Prepare business proposals and follow up the credit approval process
• Liaise with in-house or external lawyer to complete facility documentation process.
• Implement post lending management for the managed credit portfolio.
• Complete a variety of administration duties to assist operation and management of the department.
• Work with members of other departments or external parties by producing statistics, analysis, review of credit lines and various tasks associated with corporate banking business.
• Conduct and fulfil KYC and KYB compliance requirements.

Your background:

• A strong background in relationship management or credit analysis in UK financial industry with an extensive track record covering aviation sector.
• Educated to degree level or higher in Finance or Accounting, formal credit training is advantageous.
• A good understanding of general and structured corporate financing activities and general and structured corporate banking products and services.
• An ability to navigate around and understand a loan agreement and related financial documents.
• Fluent English language speaking and writing skills, fluent Mandarin speaking and writing are advantageous.
