Based in London – Travel

The Client

This company have been creating innovative and exclusively senior meetings & events for their members for the past 15 years. They operate within the international real estate sector. The unique formats of their events offer the opportunity for all attendees to be fully inclusive in networking, discussions and the sharing of industry insight. They operate on a global basis and this position sits within the German speaking team, therefore you need to be fluent in German and English.

The opportunity

As a Project Director you will manage and develop a team of producers, marketers and salespeople on event projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• As a Project Director you will be a resourceful and self-motivated professional with successful background producing high quality commercial events for board and C level professionals.


• You will create the strategy, produce & manage high quality member events per year.


• Meeting deadlines and achieving revenue targets for your events


• Continually develop your knowledge of the sector and focus on building strong business relationships.


• Working as part of a team, share information & insight to enhance & continually update the knowledge within the business.


• Producer creative copy, content and marketing information.


• Take responsibility for the growth of your portfolio of events

Your background

• You will have at least 3 years in the commercial conference industry where you will have gained experience both production and sales.


• Ideally you will have worked on larger scale events.


• Educated to Degree level


• Senior level business development & networking experience


• Create the strategy for an event and communicate this within the business


• Able to successfully lead a project and manage the process


• Excellent research & analysis skills


• Professional communication skills- both written & communication and comfortable communicating at decision maker level


• Able to take responsibility and commit to tasks


• Proactive, positive and solution focused
