Senior Bookkeeper – Recruitment Company

Are you a Senior Bookkeeper currently working in practice, or in a sales/ recruitment company looking to move into a more financially rewarding position with room to grow and develop?

• Experienced in bookkeeping for busy accounts


• Credit control


• Invoicing and allocating payments


• Reconciling accounts


• Knowledge of Invoice Discounting and/ or Factoring


• Extremely organised and dedicated


• Knowledge of VAT schemes as a bookkeeper


• Ability to provide remittances weekly


• Some knowledge of payroll software such as SAGE or Quickbooks preferable

Support for the Bookkeeper

Support within the role will be available as we will help towards experience in your ACA, ACCA or CIMA as well as training with clients

As a Bookkeeper with a level and autonomy you will be expected to be able to help create and implement new processes.

The role will involve working on a busy bookkeeping desk with some of the largest clients in the public sector and whilst it does not need to be client facing, there is opportunities to create a client facing role.

Experience within Time sheet collection would be ideal for contractors/ temp workers in a business with turnover of circa £20m.

Remuneration for a Senior Bookkeeper

For this role there will be bonuses available on successful completion of work

Salary will depend on experience and vary between £20,000 – £30,000 with bonuses of up to £10,000 per year.
