Managing Surveyor - L&Q - London E15

L&Q

has recently secured

two significant

regeneration projects

that will deliver over

13,000 new homes. As

such, a new opportunity

has arisen for a

driven, committed, and

enthusiastic

construction

professional to join

Quadrant Construction

as part of the Project

Team.

We are

looking for an

experienced Managing

Surveyor to oversee

the

surveying support of

the commercial and

financial interests of

Quadrant Construction

across a number of

mixed tenure housing

projects (including pre

and post contract

duties).


Main

responsibilities will


include:

Lead,

manage and develop

direct and indirect

reports

Manage

all commercial

reporting

procedures

Act as a

single point of contact

for all commercial,

legal, financial and

administrative issues

with internal and

external

stakeholders


?


Provide

regular commercial

insight on the

performance of

organisations

contracted to projects,

enabling the project to

make informed decisions

about contract

variation


?


Manage

stakeholder

relationships to ensure

a constructive

relationship is

maintained throughout

the lifecycle of all

projects


?


Ensure

commercial /

contractual

arrangements comply

with all applicable

legislative, regulatory

and corporate

standards


?


Develop,

implement and

continually review

procedure and practice

to ensure the effective

commercial management

of

contracts


?


Forecast

and monitor the key

performance

indicators


?


Communicate to

senior management on

business plan, current

state and forecast

position


?


Identify

risk and implement risk

management

system


You will be an

excellent communicator

with the skills and

experience to work

collaboratively with

stakeholders including

sub- contractors,

clients and

residents.

You will

have


extensive knowledge

and experience of the

commercial management

of high-value contracts

including the

ability to manage

high-value contractual

disputes to successful

conclusion

.

You will

be able to demonstrate

strong project

management skills with

experience in

procurement, contract

and financial

management and be able

to manage the

commercial aspects of

complex and long term

contracts of

significant value. You

will also be able to

show that you are able

to lead, motivate and

manage a

team.


It is essential

that you have previous

experience working for

a contractor or

developer in the

housing sector and can

demonstrate a proven

track record in a

similar

role.
