Team Assistant for Management Consultancy – Salary up to £27,000 per annum.
My client is seeking a reliable, articulate and personable Team Assistant to provide support to their team of 30 bright, astute Consultants.
You must be detail orientated, comfortable with numbers, confident with managing supplier relationships and have the ability to present the office well. You’ll ideally have a calm persona and be able to support the members of the team with anything and everything. Having a helpful nature and proactive approach to work is a must.
Your role as team assistant is to ensure the smooth running of the office and to support both the consultants and internal company functions. Duties will include anything from sorting post, ordering stationary and answering phone calls to all aspects of managing the office and its suppliers, as well as bookkeeping support for the finance manager, and potentially a range of other areas including supporting the quality management processes, tenders and contracts.
There’s not much your job won’t cover and no two days will ever be the same! Being flexible and willing to help out if you see a problem is fundamental in this role.
Some accounts experience/knowledge is essential for this role. You’ll be using Excel to gather, track, manipulate and present data, such as event invitations, job applications and survey results. You’ll also be keeping accurate records including HR and ISO9001 and maintaining appropriate company policies and procedures.
You must be extremely organised, self-motivated, have the ability to multitask and communicate well.
You’ll have a friendly, collaborative and approachable personality, helping to make the office a welcoming place where everyone feels able to ask you for help. You’ll also need to be proactive and content to work alone, whilst colleagues are out at client sites.
