Salary £32,600 to £47,801 per annum, dependent on experience

In 2014 the Department of Law and Criminology was highly commended in the Law Society excellence awards and won the British Society of Criminology national teaching award. The department has a dynamic staff group with a broad portfolio of teaching, research and scholarly activities that cut across the subject areas of law, criminology and social justice. We have recently moved into an innovative new academic building that is home to the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice.

Now we are looking for an inspirational lecturer / senior lecturer with a commitment to enhance the student experience to join our team. You will design, develop and deliver innovative high quality, vibrant and challenging learning experiences. You will have the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with a range of stakeholders to develop and promote relationships that will enhance income generation.

You must have well-developed current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to the teaching of Criminology and Experience of teaching undergraduate students in Higher Education. You must also have Experience of teaching and/or research within the areas of research methods & study skills, victimology and/or criminological theories.
