The company covers properties in areas throughout zones 1 in Central London and aims to provide an excellent personal service to professional clients looking for somewhere comfortable to live within easy reach of Central London.
We require a letting and business development manager as we aim to grow and expand our business by more than 150% in the next 12 months.
The successful candidate will ideally have a number of years experience in the property industry and have access to a large portfolio of landlords in the central London area.
He/She should be an excellent communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills, as a vital part of the role will be to ‘sell’ us as a company and persuade Landlord’s to work with our team.
The role will be remunerated with both a basic salary and an excellent, uncapped commission scheme.
The role, as above, is to be for a responsible individual who is willing and able to drive forward the Lettings Department in this fast paced environment.
Key Activities
The required activities will consist of 4 main areas:
1. Lettings
- Conduct Lettings Staff
- Drive the lettings team at a pace that will deliver results whilst leading from the front and meeting all targets
- Negotiating the letting of properties
- Selling our company services to generate new and repeat business
- Upselling our products throughout the lettings cycle
- Running morning and team meetings
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly targets for the team
- To produce and regularly update relevant reports recording the performance of the department
2. Procurement / Canvasing
- Contacting existing landlords from their own portfolio
- Securing new long-term deals with both existing and new landlords
- Arranging and conducting viewings
- Closing deals on a weekly basis
3. Business Development
- Maximize the existing sales strategies
- Finding new and unexplored lines of revenue
- Contacting intermediaries and finalising agreements
- Bring new procedures in place marketing, sales, lettings and managements
4. Recruiting
- Arrange and carry out interviews
- Structure and build up the team in line with the company objectives
- Full training and control on all of the office activities
Requirements
- Minimum two years lettings experience
- Minimum two years managing people
- Proven track record in generating new business
- Existing list of multiple landlords in central London
- Existing and consolidated relationships with estate agencies
- Results/goals orientated
- Ability to motivate, coach and train individuals
- OCD organisational and time management skills
