Registration Officer- Part Time 3 days a week


Salary: Part Time £22k pro rata equivalent to 3 days p.w


Main Purpose:


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time, Registrations Officer to join this Royal Educational Regulatory Body based in central London. The Registrations Officer will deal with incoming enquiries from members, practices and the public in line with the colleges service standard


  • Manage the integrity of the premises data and internal and external queries relating to the practice and premises data.

  • Manage the ‘Practice My Account’ area for veterinary practice premises.

Secondary Purpose:


Working under the guidance of the Senior Registration Officer review and decide on overseas qualified applicant’s eligibility for registration and the entry of all new members in the Register of Veterinary Surgeons.


Manage the Register of Veterinary Practice Premises (RVPP) by carrying out premises and find a vet updates, and act as the point of contact for the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD).


Maintain the Register of Members by leading on the inputting, updating and cleansing of members’ records.


Reporting to: Customer Experience Manager


Key Responsibilities:


Manage the registration and removal process of Veterinary Practice Premises, including invoicing and dealing with financial and registration enquiries.


Support the Senior Registration Officer in the registration process of new applicants. Set up the registration of new members; issuing certificates; preparing the registration packs; preparing the room; updating the registration document verification folder and updating IMIS.


Assist and advise the public and the profession on practice premises queries.


Follow up on returned post from practices.


Prepare and execute regular data cleanse exercises on the practice premises and find a vet data.


Manage submissions and queries received from practices and colleagues regarding the ‘Practice My Account’ area.


Providing advice and support to veterinary surgeons, nurses and practices on membership and registration matters.


Other Duties:


Assist with service and system improvements within the Registration Department.


Deliver on the colleges service standards and promise.


Provide cover within the Department for other staff as and when necessary.


Accountability:


The post holder is accountable to the Customer Experience Manager
