A remarkable opportunity has become available for a Web Developer to work for a multinational professional services firm for their in-house design studio and will be based in the heart of the City. This particular role stands out from others as it offers the opportunity to work flexible working hours covering any of the below shift patterns:

This Programmer role will paying £38,000 per annum and be working as part of the Digital Media Team within the Creative Services Group of this large prestigious company. The team incorporates both Digital Designers, Filming and Editing teams. The successful Digital Developer will be supporting the designers with the production of digital solutions including HTML5 websites, SharePoint development, Flash builds and mobile apps. The roles calls for someone with a creative focus and be driven to produce high-quality deliverables and solutions within the client brand guidelines.

This fantastic role also offers the opportunity to work with subject matter experts and will also be presented to support with the delivery of larger projects and out-of-scope work. Some key responsibilities within this role will be as follows:

Key tasks:

• Production of digital media content including: HTML5 websites, mobile apps, interactive flash animations, web banners, digital event material for exhibition and conferences


• Working with designers on the UI but take ownership of IA and UX


• Taking briefs from clients whilst advising them on the best technical solutions


• Educating and influencing clients to choose effective and functional deliverables within their timeframes


• Interpreting the brief, understanding client requirements and providing appropriate solutions


• Demonstrating client-focused attitude with good people skills, able to and present ideas in an easy to understand way whilst having the ability to manage client expectations


• Liaising with team members at all levels (client, team, manager and IT)


• Negotiating and managing deadlines


• Following standards and digital guidelines for branded materials


• Keeping well-informed of digital media trends, technologies and developments to share new ideas to the team and client

The desired candidate should have the following skills and experience to be selected for interview:

• At least 3 years’ experience in digital development


• An advanced understanding of coding including HTML5, AS3, XML & Java


• Solid experience with CSS3 including the pre-processors SASS and LESS


• Proven web coding and development


• App development experience


• Experience with MS SharePoint


• Exceptional client service skills


• Calm and level headed


• A team player


• Sociable and friendly
