Financial Controller - ACCA - Exclusive

Our client a UK based national business are looking for a dynamic forward thinking Financial Controller. Reporting into the UK FD the role is managing all aspects of the finance function with the view that you will grow with this business in less than 18 months.

Key areas of focus:

management of financial and business data

• prepare statory accounts


• comply with external audits


• maintain all reconcilations and balacne sheet accounts


• prepare statutory and fiscal reporting


• prepare on monthly forecasts


• manage accounts receveiable

This is an amazing role with the view to create your own mark in this business and be the UK number two for the FD

The ideal candidate will come from an audit background from one of the top 20 accountancy firms. You will be wanting a career change and to work with a business where you can progress and work closley with the UK FD. Perhaps you want to be part of this expanding firms succcession plan. If you want to reach the top and not be just a number than this is the business for you.

Key skills

• Qualified Accountant or passed finalist


• Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, FR5102


• Sound technical skills


• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills


• A “can do” attitude.


• Systems literate (Especially advanced Excel), preferably with experience of Great Plains and MS Dynamics CRM.
