Senior HR Adviser - Government Department



This HR Specialist role is in a governmental department in a busy area of London with offices by the river.

A governmental department with over 10,000 staff across the country


Description


The day-to-day duties of the HR Specialist will include:


  • Managing a diverse case load of around 20-30 complex cases, coaching managers across the country over the phone

  • Training new line managers to build up their capabilities to deal with low level ER cases

  • Strategically Identify ER trends in the south west region and produce quarterly reports on sickness and absence to the Senior HR Business Partner and Deputy Director of the region

Profile


The ideal HR Specialist candidate should have:


  • Significant experience dealing with complex ER cases and preferably comfortable dealing with it over the phone

  • Confidence and experience in coaching and training line managers

  • Be studying towards or be CIPD qualified

  • Ability to work autonomously

Job Offer


The salary of the role is up to £33300, with a pension of 17.5% also offers a holiday of 27days, a pension and flexible working hours (core hours (10:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00))
