Main purpose of the job
To provide guests with food of a high standard of preparation and presentation. To work in compliance with the Head Chef and Hotel Management Team. To keep the kitchen clean and tidy at all times, be friendly and approachable to colleagues and guests, all in line with company brand standards, detailed overleaf.
Principle Job Duties
¨ To deputise for Head Chef in his absence.
¨ Understanding relevant Health & Safety legislation and the implications on the operation of the department.
¨ Ensuring safe and healthy working practices are implemented at all times and communicated to the team.
¨ Prepare daily food orders for suppliers to ensure enough food in stock for business needs.
¨ To ensure kitchen is staffed according to business needs.
¨ Complete brand standard training with all staff.
¨ Prepare, cook and present all food in accordance with brand standards and menu specifications.
