We are looking for Support workers who wants to help and make a difference in the community

Role : Support Worker, Domiciliary Care Setting

Contract : Permanent, Guaranteed Hours ( Full time)

Rota : Flexible ( Ear lies: 7:00am – 2pm or 4:00pm-10pm) Must be able to work every other weekends

Rate : £10 an hour + Benefits

Area : Twickenham & Richmond Area

The are looking for reablement support workers to help and support their clients to live as independently as possible within their homes and community through intensive 6 week short term support.

Job Responsibilities:

– Assisting with personal care and support to clients including washing, bathing and toileting

– Assisting with Healthcare, including assisting the service user to take medication as appropriate

– Assisting with practical support and domestic tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping and meal preparation.

– On-going support to service users with strong communication skills with a holistic approach to all aspects of support and care

– An enthusiastic, motivated individual to work alongside other health professionals

– Reporting to line manager the progress of individuals, incidents and general observations daily where necessary

– Availability to work alternate weekends

What we are looking for:

– Experience working in the care sector is an advantage

– Desired, NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care

– Certificates in Health and Safety, First Aid, Medication, Food Hygiene or Moving and Handling

– Willingness to undergo training and enhanced DBS Check

We have interview dates available, should you be short listed and successful you will then be attending the next training date. Immediate start for candidates who are fully compliant and signed off by company. This is completion of all standard checks including receipt of DBS.
