Graduate Creative and Graphic Design - Paid Internship - London

This is a 3 month internship paying £1088 per month, with the potential to become a permanent position.  You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

Our client are an exciting new start-up that has founded 4 brands within the health & beauty and home & kitchen market. They supply their products to several high street retailers and sell on Amazon and eBay across the world. 

A typical day would be:

You will be working directly for the founder to increase the market share by improving the companies public image and creating new and original artwork including:

Product packaging and logos.
Marketing materials including infographics, product information pages, brochures, blogs and banners.
Re-designing front-ends for websites.
Product development
Building a social media profile, updating content.

This role is hugely diverse, and responsibilities will change from day-to-day and week-to-week as they are constantly looking at developing new brands and products. You will be entirely in control of everything ‘creative’ within the business and will provide experience in all aspects of design and marketing.

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

– You must be highly creative
– You will need advanced graphic design skills in software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. (Note: The client must see a design portfolio with artwork relevant to what they are looking for)
– An interest in sales and marketing as the graphic design will be geared to generating sales.
– Ability to work alone, with limited direction.
– Although not compulsory, it would be beneficial to have skills in other artistic areas too such as photography or video. The more you can give, the more opportunities there will be.
– Someone who has real drive to succeed, with a genuine interest in working for start-up with opportunity for a long-term position. The more you put in, the more you will achieve.
