Fixed Term: 36 months.


A 36 month post-doctoral position is available in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience, University of St. Andrews, to work on an ESRC funded project examining the role of social identification in involuntary influence (‘contagion’). The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in psychology or a cognate subject and will have practical experience in all aspects of experimental design and advanced statistical analysis. Familiarity with the social identity perspective and the group influence literature is highly desired. 


The start date is 1 May 2016, or as soon as possible thereafter.
