This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer with a strong publication record and proven teaching ability to become the inaugural Director of our new MSc Psychology and Education (Conversion) programme (British Psychological Society accreditation applied for).
We welcome applications from Educational Psychologists to lead the organisation and delivery of the full range of teaching and research activities on the MSc Psychology and Education (Conversion) programme and to become an active member of the Centre for Critical Psychology and Education (http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/education/research/groups/ccpe).
You will have a PhD in Psychology, Education or a cognate discipline. Eligibility for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society and experience of teaching Psychology at undergraduate and Master’s level is essential. Some experience of working with a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service and writing research funding applications is desirable.
Salary: Grade 9 – £49,230 to £55,389 with potential to progress to £64,188 through sustained exceptional contribution
