Pharmacovigilance Drugs Safety Scientist – Central London

Your role as a Pharmacovigilance Drugs Safety Scientist will involve monitoring and managing the safety aspects of the companies portfolio of drug products and patient safety in line with local and global pharmacovigilance requirements including GPvP.


You will put in place risk management plans (RMPs), referrals, signal detection and medical writing to support product safety reviews and clinical evaluations.


Other duties and responsibilities include:


  • Providing scientific expertise in order to support urgent safety restrictions and product recalls.

  • Pharmacovigilancetraining to the business.

  • Managing distributors and licence partners to ensure compliance across all drug safety activities.

  • Pre and post action arising from pharmacovigilance audits and inspections.

  • Continues improvement of safety systems and processes.

This is a full time permanent job opportunity paying £35,000 – £43,000 per annum negotiable for the right candidate with fantastic benefits such as healthcare, pension, holidays, bonus….and great career prospects.


Skills:

  • Life Science or Pharmacy degree.

  • Experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical or related industry.

  • Experience of working to GPvP Regulations.
