As part of their continued growth, they are currently seeking to hire a Sales Executive – Hotels to join the Business Development team in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Executive you will support account management and reporting related tasks of Sales Managers and Senior Sales Managers in key markets, manage and build/maintain relationships with accounts and accommodation partners in non-targeted cities, consult those partners to optimize pricing, availability and content competitiveness of the business and ensure accurate upload of relevant data and content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train new hotels on how to use the extranet, manage system and availability on site.
- Ensure last room availability and competitiveness.
- Coordinate, support the Sales Managers in all systems and content related activities
- Resolve issues relating to accounting, allotment, vouchers, notification, cancellations.
- Participate in market and competition research
- Evaluate production and determine follow up action.
- Prepare reports as necessary
- Co-ordinate merchandising activities for hotel partners with special deals and promotions
- Be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of content and photos for new and existing hotels
- Manage other ad-hoc administrative requests and operative tasks
YOUR MUST HAVES*
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- International exposure.
- Experience in online travel market research and analysis.
- Computer skill essential. Microsoft Excel and Power Point are must.
- Education in Tourism related field is an advantage
