The business I am recruiting for is one of the UK’s leading FinTech Start Ups, based in central London. They are looking to recruit an SEO Manager who can manage and implement an SEO strategy and progress through the rapidly growing business.

The client are an extremely successful, disruptive FinTech start-up. They are looking to develop their digital strategy and are recruiting for an SEO Manager to come on board their Marketing team in central London.
Description
SEO Manager role:
Develop SEO Strategy to meet agreed business objectives:
- Use industry and competitor analysis data to inform strategy
- Identify on-site and outreach strategies to deliver against set metrics
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
Deliver organic search traffic volumes in line with agreed targets
- Work with Product and Technology teams to implement required website changes
- Manage distribution of content, link building and keyword strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Day-today management of affiliate and PPC campaigns
- Coordinate affiliate marketing programme with third parties including trafficking
- Create and distribute asset library to ensure brand is represented well in all environments
- Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve minimum ROI in paid search campaigns
Provide detailed analysis and reporting to demonstrate the impact of activity
- Provide clear reporting and business recommendations on a regular basis
- Plan, run and report on an “always on” AB testing programme
Day to day management of marketing website content
- Ensure all content is up to date
- Coordinate updates/landing pages to reflect individual campaigns
- Manage the addition of new sections of the website (e.g Tips and Tools
Profile
Minimum requirements
- The Senior Digital Marketing Executive should be educated to degree level (minimum 2:!- from a top university) or have an equivalent Professional Marketing qualification
- Previous SEO and digital marketing work is a must, in a well respected consumer business
- Candidates must ideally have worked within Financial Services
Skillset/Characteristics needed for the role
- Passionate – about what the company is trying to achieve, and about how digital marketing, particularly SEO can play a big role in achieving this objective
- Analytical – excited by and proficient at numerical marketing
- In-depth use of website analytics tools (eg. Google Analytics, Kissmetrics, Majestic, SEM Rush)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Self-disciplined – able to drive own work and create and hit own timelines
- Team player – connecting with colleagues across the company and building relationships with teams including Design, Technology and Agency teams
