Head of Creative Solutions – UK Publisher – £70,000 – £100,000 + commission
An outstanding opportunity to be the Creative lead for a major UK Publisher, manging creative campaigns across all platforms and channels helping set creative commercial strategy.
The Company
This media owner is one of the UKs leading publishers of content with a portfolio of products across national newspapers, magazines, websites, apps and Television.
This publisher dominates important parts of the consumer magazine market both in the UK and worldwide, with a stable of market-leading consumer titles. The company operates in all major areas of publishing and has diverse interests in new media, print, distribution, investment and property.
The strengths of the network lie in its skill in identifying key areas of commercial growth and its decisiveness and creative drive in developing brands that excel in these markets.
With a multimillion pound investment into their digital proposition this publisher is new seeking a Head of Digital to help drive the company forwards.
The Role
- To be the ‘go to’ leader for all aspects of Creative Solutions business
- To lead, grow and develop the team of Creative Solutions Specialists
- Cultivate executive relationships at the largest media agencies and clients
- Drive advertising revenue growth across the publisher
- To be responsible for attaining and exceeding targets across the creative solutions team
- Define the strategy for maintaining existing creative solutions business and the successful generation of new creative solutions business across the portfolio
- Build strong relationships with the print & digital teams and focus on a joined up approach to targeting agencies and clients
- Develop strategic, solutions sales approach and assist sales reps in selling integrated packages to senior level agency and brand contacts
The Person
- 5+ years of increasing responsibility, in a creative solutions environment with management experience
- Demonstrable success in scaling revenues, sales process and team
- Keen understanding of the digital & print media advertising market
- Ability to lead, build and motivate a high performance-oriented sales team
- Relationships and experience selling advertising and campaigns to both clients and agencies.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills as well as comfort and effectiveness in communicating at the C-suite/Board of Director Level
- Excellent communicator – both verbal and written. Experienced at delivering high quality presentations to groups
- Entrepreneurial approach to generating new revenue
- Self motivated and used to operating under own initiative
- Strong sales approach including negotiating, handling objections and closing deals, using this knowledge to the benefit of others in the team
