Our reputable London based client seeks an Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis to join their growing retail business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global brand and report directly to the Finance Operations Manager. You will be required to take control of expenditure, manage and motivate the existing team and develop and streamline the P2P process. Experience within a business retail or multi-site organisation would be beneficial.

Duties will include:

• General day to day management and leadership of the AP team

• Produce consolidated reports and accounts Assist in the delivery of daily and monthly KPI’s

• Review of all Aged creditors listings on a monthly basis

• Hold regular 121s/PDR’s

• Ensure internal controls are maintained and delivered

• To establish, strong relationships with all stakeholders, taking care to understand there requirements and be able to explain and communicate the accounts payable strategies to them

• Priorities workloads for the team, ensuring agreed SLA’s are maintained

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments, across a number of entities

• Ensure supplier statements are accurately reconciled in a timely manner

• Manage the sales ledger team of 12

You must have

• Previous experience of accounts payable management and leadership

• Experience of working within a high volume environment

• Excellent business partnering experience

• Knowledge of financial accounting and analysis within a retail or multi-site organisation would be beneficial

• Advanced Excel skills & SUN
