Account Manager - Telecommunications (Excellent Opportunity!)
My client, a well-established telecommunications company specialising in creating bespoke, high performance mobile and fixed line connectivity solutions for clients across the globe, is looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to work with the Head of Key Accounts to service, retain and grow the present customer base.
The company are going through an impressive phase of growth at present and are only interested in considering high calibre candidates. You must be very articulate and well spoken with a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Service our existing customer base of clients, selling new connections, equipment, services and answering any queries they may have.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Account Management and Contract files, as well as any other types of databases on all existing clients.
- Sell the products and services for which you are responsible at prices and tariffs communicated to you by the Board.
- Check the credit worthiness of new customers with the Credit Controller(s) before providing goods/services to any new client or extending credit.
- Prepare and despatch promptly invoices for all forms of cellular devices, accessory sales, car kit installations and deliveries.
- Provide support and cover for other members of the team when necessary.
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Account Management experience essential
- Telecoms experience preferred, although not essential#
- Must display excellent administrative skills
- Must have an excellent use of the English language, able to construct well written emails with excellent punctuation and grammer (Essential)
- Must have experience in handling difficult scenarios with customers and being able to show their resolve
Two positions available:
1) Hours: 09:00am – 6:00pm (Sunday – Thursday)
Package £27,500 – £30,000 p.a. + Company bonus (approx £4,400)
2)Hours: 09:00am – 6:00pm (Monday- Friday)
Package £25,000 – £27,500 p.a. + Company bonus (approx £4,400)
