We currently have a brilliant opportunity for an Application Support Analyst within our IT Development team. You will be responsible for answering and resolving Application Support calls to an agreed standard and delivering application support with a focus on customer service and adhering to ITIL standards.Part of this role will include answering and resolving application support calls to agreed standard and SLA, root cause analysis of issues ensuring scope and implications of any change are fully understood, undertake small developments, ensure that coding follows ASWatson standards is clear and well structured, produce unit test plans and carry out unit testing and write user documentation and train internal customers in the use of new software.We are seeking a candidate who has experience of working with commercial systems infrastructure and databases, experience of working in a Retail business, previous IT Support experience and experience in a relevant programming language:• Oracle – UNIX scripting, SQL and PL/SQL is essential, Oracle applications experience (esp. Retek) is desirable.• Data Warehousing – knowledge of data warehouse development, and Business Objects is desirable
