Team Member - up to 40 hours per week - Travelodge - London





Team Member with Bar Café – providing a “fresh experience”

As a Team Member with Travelodge your main priority will be to make our customers feel warm & welcome during their stay. We are known for providing excellent customer service and if you would like to join our team keeping the customer happy must be the most important thing to you too.


We are looking for people to join our Travelodge team who can work flexibly across all shifts, both weekdays and weekends. In return we will receive a rewarding experience and opportunities to develop.


You will need to:


  • Be friendly and helpful at all times.

  • Ensure the customer enjoys their Bar Café experience.

  • Listen to our customers and happily assist with any queries they might have. If you can’t help, you’ll find someone who can.

  • Learn about what’s happening in your hotel and the local area and share this with the rest of your team.

  • Keep our customer’s safe by being aware of any potential problems.

Your main Reception duties will be to:

  • Welcome our customers to the hotel – check them in and make any reservation changes as required.

  • Complete day-to-day administrative tasks on time and accurately.

  • Follow our procedures, when dealing with customer bookings, cash reconciliation, security and stock.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy Hotel for the customers and the rest of your team.

  • Work cross functionally when required.

  • Support your Manager to achieve the scorecard targets.

Your main Bar Café duties will be to:

  • Promote the food and drinks offering from our Bar Café menu.

  • Prepare and serve food and drinks in line with company standards.

  • Work across all areas of the Bar Café and Kitchen

  • Safely use all equipment following the appropriate operations manual, to include Merry Chef, Auto Fry and Dish/Glass Washer.

  • Follow instructions for health and fire, cleaning products, manual handling and food hygiene.

  • Keep your line manager up-to-date with maintenance, service or equipment issues and follow these up.
