Comedy Central & MTV - Research & Insights Intern - 12 month FTC - Viacom - London





The Internship:
Reporting primarily into the Comedy Central Research & Insights Manager, the main responsibilities of this position will be:
  • Compiling daily, weekly and monthly channel performance reports and reporting on performance at channel team meetings when required.

  • Providing ad-hoc viewing analysis on programming, channel performance and our competitive market- place.

  • To become an expert on the TV marketplace, monitoring the trade press and listings publications for information on our competitors and other relevant media stories.

  • Some team specific administrative duties and team support.

For any candidate looking to break into broadcasting, this internship offers a real opportunity to build skills, knowledge and experience in a supportive environment. Whilst this isn’t a route into programme creation or on-air exposure, the size of the teams means you can have real day-to-day impact on the channels whilst being part of a multi-brand network means you will have access to the other brands, and territories within the VIMN network.


You don’t necessarily need a degree but you do need passion, enthusiasm and be able to show us that you’ve been really proactive in gaining experience and life skills for your dream job.
