We have achieved this by engaging effectively with communities for better welfare, treatment and veterinary services and through the successful lobbying of key global players to change policy and practice for the mutual benefit of both the animals and their owners – the millions of people whose livelihoods depend on them.
Brooke currently reach over 1800,000 working animals and are on track to achieve our goal of reaching 2 million working animals and benefitting 12 million people by the end of 2016.

The Role
This role will work to assist the Director of Fundraising & Communications and the various Heads of the Fundraising & Communications Department in the fulfilment of routine requests, organise all travel arrangements for the team, arrange and service the Fundraising & Communications Director and Heads of Teams in meetings and seminars. This role will involve coordination of team meetings as required, taking minutes/ noting action points raised and supporting the Fundraising & Communications team to comply with financial and budgetary procedures to ensure the smooth running of financial transactions.
Criteria
We’re looking for someone with proven experience of developing and implementing systems within a team and supporting senior team members under time pressure. This will include experience of budget planning & management and also excellent IT skills including Microsoft PowerPoint. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. You will also have the ability to draft clear and concise reports.
You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the team, together with experience of building good working relationships with a wide range of people. You will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.
