iOS Developer | Automotive Industry | Central London | Up to £60.000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high quality iOS Developer to join the Digital Team at a leading automotive company based in their new offices in Central London. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and deliver the next generation of this award-winning mobile app, and you will have the chance to be involved in some of the newest and most innovative ideas in the automotive industry. You will be working together in a collaborative environment with other developers, as well as cross functional teams within the wider organisation. The role offers an attractive salary up to 60k with some amazing benefits.

What you’ll be doing:

– Delivering the mobile strategy, tools, and applications for both the B2C and B2B offering across connected devices, brands and systems

– Building the libraries and frameworks that support the company’s large and complex automotive applications of the future

– Be involved in the entire life cycle of the product, and contribute to everything from product strategy to testing to customer adoption

– Work closely with other developers, product managers, designers, and development partners, as well as business clients to deliver across a wide variety of customer needs

Key Qualifications:

– Proven iOS development experience with consumer facing app

– Outstanding knowledge of and experience with Swift and Objective C

– Development of self-service applications

– Knowledge of REST APIs and 3rd Party SDK integration

– A computer science degree or equivalent with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns

Required Experience:

– Google Maps Mobile SDK integration and mobile application architecture

– Working in an agile development (SCRUM, Kanban)

– Test automation, Unit testing, testing frameworks, continuous delivery systems

– Experience with UI frameworks, Interface animations, and transitions

– Working with third-party development partners and developing clean development principles.

– Ability to explain technical solutions to business stakeholders, interpret requests and requirements appropriately

– Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

– Creating fast, scalable applications and prototypes

– Integrating social networks mobile SDKs (Facebook, Twitter, OAuth etc.)

– Building geolocation solutions using geospatial data

– Interest in cars, mobile technology and the automotive industry
