Head of Sales (Healthcare Intelligence) – Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission OTE £130k

Our client is an international business information & market research firm providing intelligence, insight and data to the Healthcare, Life Science and Pharmaceutical sectors. They provide essential resources for anyone in these sectors and offer the most comprehensive news and market intelligence worldwide.


About the role of Sales Manager


You will be brought into set up, develop and grow an international sales team who will be responsible for selling subscriptions for an online business intelligence platform into companies within Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices across EMEA and the US.


Initially this will be a hybrid sales / management role where you will carry your own sales and be expected to lead from the front and contribute a major part of the revenue on a monthly basis however as the team continues to grow you will take a step back from selling and be more involved with managing the sales team and making sure they continue to hit and exceed sales revenue targets.


Your goal is to grow an international business development team, build strong relationships and open doors to more contacts and opportunities. You must therefore have the ability to gain trust, understand business objectives and translate customer needs into solution requirements.


Your ability to communicate at senior level with gravitas and professionalism is vital.

Candidate Requirements


  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets

  • Experience of building, leading and running a successful sales team however we would also consider a top sales individual / business development manager who has worked within Healthcare / Scientific Information who is looking for their 1st Sales Management role

  • Experience of selling business information, market research or market intelligence into the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Scientific or Life Science Sectors is essential

  • Self starter who is capable of multi tasking

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills

  • Ability to lead from the front and lead by example
