The post is funded for a period of 6 months on a 0.6 FTE basis.
We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant available from January 2016. The successful candidate will contribute to an interdisciplinary programme of research commissioned by Samaritans to increase understanding of factors influencing suicidal thoughts and behaviours in specific settings, in order to help prevent suicide. This will involve searching, coding and analysing online content and social media posts about suicidal behaviour, using web-based text analysis and visualisation tools.
