Visiting Lecturer: Winter Intensive Certificate Course in Psychotherapy & Counselling, commencing January 2016

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated professional who will be part of a team of three to deliver this successful programme.  The role includes the delivery of four Lectures and experiential sessions, supervising students’ triad practice, facilitating a PPD group, marking essays, and taking part in student assessments. There will also be a requirement to conduct short essay-related tutorials.


The Winter Intensive Certificate takes place over 10 consecutive weekends, commencing Saturday January 16th 2016 and concluding on Sunday March 20th 2016. Teaching hours are normally between 1:00pm – 5:00pm but some additional morning attendance will be required.


Candidates should possess a good general knowledge of the main theories of counselling and psychotherapy, with specialist knowledge of one modality. Applications will only be considered from candidates with teaching and group facilitation experience on an intensive or similar course. Applicants must be currently registered as a psychotherapist, counsellor or psychologist.  An MA in a psychotherapy related field would be desirable.
