You will be involved in research that uses computational modelling to investigate the mechanisms by which English-speaking children learn to produce questions. The Project runs as part of the new ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development (LuCiD).
You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in Psychology, Computer Science, Linguistics or a related discipline, and have experience with computational modelling, and of publishing your work in conference proceedings or journals. Knowledge and experience of verbal and computational theories of child language acquisition are desirable. The post is available for 3 years starting from 1 August, 2016.
