Payments Processing Analyst. This award-winning payments & FX services company is currently seeking a new member for their growing payments team. The team is part of a vibrant and forward-thinking company and offers good chance for future progression. Work covers payments processing (international and domestic: swift, bacs, chaps, FX, SEPA) for a range of international corporate clients.
NOTE: Candidates must have some experience of working in a dedicated payments role, with experience of international payments and swift.
Payments Processing Analyst – The role:
This busy and rewarding role will see you responsible for the processing of a wide range of client payment transactions. These functions include payment receipt, routing and delivery, in addition to FX processing.
The position covers payments processing and reconciliation duties.
You will cover: dealing with the daily execution of client collection and payment demand, utilising multiple banking interfaces – including SWIFT and BACS – and a range of proprietary banking applications; reconciliation of bank accounts, merchant and House Liquidity and FX monitoring; exception handling / investigations for Merchant initiated and in-house queries; correspondence with banking partners through email, telephone and the SWIFT network; Client correspondence; general archiving and record keeping.
Payments Processing Analyst – The hours:
The hours are a standard 37.5hr week covering a shift system that covers between the hours of 0700 and 1900hrs, rotating on ‘earlies’, ‘middles’ and ‘lates’ every 2-3wks. Saturday work (a few hours) is again on a rota but once every 4-5 weeks. Saturdays and Bank Holidays are considered ‘overtime’, with an increased payment. Candidates must be comfortable with these working hours.
Payments Processing Analyst – The candidate:

This role would suit someone with at least 1-2yrs+ experience of working in a busy payments team. Candidates must have a working knowledge of SWIFT and BACS, with general International and Domestic payment systems experience. Strong Excel and Word skills required as well.
