Procurement Administrator - Accounts Assistant



My client is looking for a Procurement Administrator to support the Procurement function in reaching the team business objectives. This role will sit closely with Accounting (scope to do Accounting duties in addition) and will carry out purchasing tasks for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for the organization.


Responsibilities:


Performs a variety of routine clerical and purchasing tasks in support of Procurement


Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business.


Populates system data base and uses several different software programs.


Establishes, maintains and updates office files and performs follow-up to ensure completion in a timely manner.


Assists in composing and preparing responses to correspondence on subjects where policy and procedures are established.


Obtains signature of approving authority and assists with necessary compilation of documents.


Assisting with Accounting and Month End


Skills:


General understanding of procurement processes.


Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.


Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated to drive tasks to completion.


Please note candidates from an Accounting background with Procurement experience will also be considered.
