First Data Global Business Solutions is recruiting a Sales Director within its First Data Europe organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious candidate who is seeking responsibility and ownership to make things happen. You will be an experienced sales person with a background in international sales, preferably in the payments and or ecommerce industry.

Responsibilities:


Included in the role but not limited to;


Achieve revenue targets consistent with First Data Europe’s business strategy and revenue growth plans.


  • Grow top line revenue across First Data Europe by selling First Data card present and eCommerce acquiring, processing and service solutions to large Tier1 merchants and payment service providers that operate across international markets.

  • Drive and execute new business opportunity with new clients as well as drive new international business opportunity with existing key clients.

  • Develop and execute detailed go to market strategies that deliver business growth and incremental revenue to First Data Europe.

  • Develop and refine pricing models and contract frameworks that meet the collective objectives of First Data Corporation while delivering profitable and sustainable business to its acquiring and processing businesses.

  • Interpret internal and external market intelligence and information sources to identify new business opportunity and develop and execute business plans that will maximise First Data revenue opportunities and differentiate First Data solutions in the marketplace.

  • Create a clear vision for success that compliments and aligns with the First Data’s business plan and growth strategy.

  • Drive a culture of excellence across the First Data sales and business development groups.

  • Work as a member of the senior sales leadership team to enhance and further differentiate First Data’s business value proposition.

  • Provide up to date and accurate sales pipeline information in salesforce.com.

  • Develop and manage business account plans for the designated opportunity portfolio.

  • Promote senior relationship management to key customers and network with them to identify strategic opportunities that can grow First Data business and brand recognition across international regions.

Requirements


The successful candidate will need to demonstrate;


  • Strong international sales experience preferably in the payments and/or ecommerce industry

  • Strong business analysis and financial acumen

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels across different functional areas.

  • Self motivated with track record of over achievement against stretch revenue targets and business goals

  • Ability to navigate and manage relationships within and across large and complex matrix organisations

  • Ability to operate effectively within a multi-national and cross-cultural context

  • Proven track record in envisioning, driving and executing effectively against a business strategy and plan

  • Ability to successfully manage demanding and complex client relationships

  • Strong situational leadership capability as well as senior level credibility and presence

  • Ability to impact, influence and drive results across internal and external company and client relationships

Qualifications


  • University and/or postgraduate degree

  • Fluency in English (other language advantageous)

Additional Requirements


  • Significant international travel will be required.
