Technical Support Engineer – LMS / eLearning / JavaScript
A Technical Support Engineer is required to join the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. The role sits within the fast growing Risk segment of the organisation, within their eLearning department. This role is based at a key site in Canary Wharf.
Role and Responsibilities:
the Technical Support Engineer will be the last point of contact for technical issues. Their responsibilities will be, however not limited to:
- Debugging issues with SCORM packages on various Learning Management Systems; this will include JavaScript coding/debugging and network debugging.
- Working closely with varying levels of stakeholders, debugging any issues they have escalated; conducted in various formats including face to face, telephone and WebEx.
- Testing the LMS functionality, determining issues and managing them to conclusion.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal Technical Support Engineer candidate will possess the following:
- A detailed understanding of coding and debugging in JavaScript, as well as a good understanding of HTML.
- A detailed understanding of SCORM will be highly desirable
- Client facing experience, with strong communication skills
- Commercial experience in eLearning is highly desirable
