Role: Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Location: Farringdon, Central London
Salary: £24,000 basic, genuine 1st year OTE of £50,000+ and full training
We are currently working with a rapidly expanding Recruitment firm based in Farringdon, Central London who specialise in the Pharmaceutical sector and are extremely strong in this field. The owner of the business used to be the CEO of one the UK’s largest Pharmaceutical firms in the UK and thus all their customers come from his historical connections. Today they employ over 30 Recruitment Consultants and are considered one of the top Pharmaceutical Recruitment specialists in the country.
As a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant with this business, you will be responsible for attracting top-tier candidates via varying methods and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with client companies. Once you then progress to Recruitment Consultant level, you will begin to work with the established client base and also developing your own black book of new customers.
You will receive full training from day one on both the Recruitment and Pharmaceutical sectors so don’t worry if you have no experience of either as it is not required and as long as you are keen to learn then they will teach you everything you need to know.
The role of a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant is demanding and diverse and involves:
- using sales, marketing techniques and networking to attract candidates on behalf of your existing and new clients
- meeting clients and candidates to build and develop relationships
- running advertising campaigns on a range of media including job sites and social media websites
- headhunting top candidates
- receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating shortlists of candidates for your clients
- negotiating salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
- offering advice to both clients and candidates on market information, pay rates, training and career progression
The salary package of a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant with this company is as follows:-
* You will receive an annual basic salary of £24,000 plus you will benefit from a lucrative commission structure and a quarterly bonus – the average OTE in year one at this company is £50,000+
* To indicate the longer term earning potential – as a Manager (which you should achieve in 3-5 years), your basic will rise to £65,000 and your salary including bonus and commission will be £200,000+.

Your role will be heavily target-based and you will be rewarded for reaching targets.
