The Opportunity
Plan International is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead an exciting initiative to significantly strengthen the capabilities of field staff and local implementing partners to implement high quality programme work across all 52 Plan International countries. The role will be responsible for leading the process of developing and implementing a capability building strategy to support the rollout of the new Programme Quality Policy and Procedures which aim to significantly strengthen project cycle management and programme quality management across Plan International.
Combining significant experience developing and implementing capability building strategies and activities within a large NGO, and a strong understanding of project cycle management and programme quality management you will be responsible for designing capability building activities and learning materials for a range of different stakeholders across the organisation.
Committed to maximising the quality of NGO programme work you are highly proactive, positive and results focused. Able to collaborate and facilitate effectively, you will use your communication skills to build a strong global network and deliver training and support capability building, both directly and remotely.
Location: International Headquarters, Woking, Surrey (approx 23 minutes from London Waterloo)

Reports to: Head of Programme Quality
Salary: £35-45000 per annum
