Funding Development Manager (Maternity Cover)

• Full Time (37.5 hours), based in London with the potential to travel.


• £36,636 plus 9% employer pension contribution


• Fixed term contract for a min of 12 months


• 25 days annual leave + 3 Christmas office closure days + 8 UK bank holidays

Conciliation Resources is currently recruiting a Funding Development Manager (maternity cover) to join the Fundraising team during a period of development, change and growth. The duration of this post will last for a minimum of 12 months, with the potential to extend.

The successful candidate will work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that we meet challenging fundraising targets, that we adhere to our contractual obligations with donors, and bring new donors on board, mainly governments and trusts and foundations. The Funding Development Manager works alongside colleagues, who themselves engage with donors, to develop compelling proposals, as well as providing strategic support and direction for organisational and programme fundraising.

Candidates should have significant senior fundraising experience within the charity sector and a track record of delivering fundraising success, including obtaining EU funds. They should have knowledge of fundraising best practice and of donors that support work in our sector, programme design, monitoring, evaluation and reporting and of writing logframes. They should also have tenacity in seeking results.
