The Client
My Client is a leading British department store. They have ambitious plans over the coming years in terms of continuous growth and development. As a result of this continued expansion they are looking for exceptional senior managers to join their business and be part of this exciting journey.
The Role
You will be:
– Directly managing up to 25 stores with a diverse portfolio
– Responsible for a turnover up to £500 million
– Reporting into the Head of Division for the South, supporting the development of the retail strategy.
– Influencing the business direction from commercial data
– Communicating the brand vision down to store level
– Identifying market opportunities and building key relationships to maximise on this
– Accountable for the retail operations team, develop the function to support the field team
– Not accountable for the full P&L, but will be influential and responsible for payroll cost.
The Candidate
– You will currently already be in a senior position, resonisble for a substantial turnover either in a single site OR as a Area/Regional Manager
– You will be a hands-on operator, not afraid to get involved in the day to day operations order to role model what good looks like, and to set the benchmarks for what is expected
– You will be an effective communicator, presenter and influencer with strong leadership qualities is an absolute must;
– You will be highly analytical and business minded you will look to add value, and fresh ideas in what is a rapidly expanding business
– You will be an inspirational leader and have a consumer first mindset
