Teaching Fellow


Applications are invited for a 12-month Teaching Fellow post in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. This position is primarily intended to support teaching and administration on our new MSc Clinical Psychology programme (starting September 2016) and will also support some undergraduate teaching and administration. The post holder may also assist in some course design and supervision of student project work.


Successful applicants should hold a PhD and have experience of teaching in a university environment, ideally including a teaching qualification. They should be enthusiastic about working in a multi-disciplinary environment and possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively. Preference will be given to individuals who can offer teaching in the area of clinical psychology.


Successful candidates will join a dynamic and supportive environment, in an internationally recognized department that ranks among the best in the United Kingdom for research and has a consistently excellent record for the highest quality teaching in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The Department has excellent facilities for undertaking research in a broad range of areas, with state-of-the-art facilities available, such as MRI, EEG, TMS, eye trackers, cognitive behavioural testing suites, social, clinical, and infant observation labs. It also has strong links with external organisations including hospitals, schools, as well as government, industrial, and charity organisations. The College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus that is close to both Central London and Heathrow Airport.


This is a full time post, available from September 2016 for a fixed term period of 12 months.
