MAIN JOB PURPOSE

Working with senior interlocutors; including donors, host governments, foundations, private sector and civil society.

Articulate Crown Agents’ contribution to achieving key partners’ objectives.

Identify gaps and knowledge that Crown Agents and partners can bring to solving complex development and growth challenges.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present think pieces, concept notes and theory of change based on CA innovation and experience.
• Able to represent CA to a range of external partners with impact and credibility
• Build the Crown Agents brand amongst partners and other stakeholders internationally.
• Position CA in the mind of partners as a partner of choice.
• Provide input to requests for proposals, expressions of interest etc. Articulating compelling narrative of CA added value.
• Deliver highest quality written products, allowing sufficient time for input from across the business.
• Understand key partners’ objectives and language, able to offer sophisticated communications products that build on that understanding.
• Constantly challenge CA to be innovative.
• Draw on wider CA expertise to produce quality Communication products.
• Develop compelling standard text that can be drawn upon by other parts of the business
• Contribute ideas for how to make CA the best place it can be
• Consider where to best shape the international development market with our Communication products.
• Proactively look for improved methodologies, approaches etc.
• Enable continuously improvement and information and knowledge sharing across the business.
• Be a role model for continuous learning, constructive feedback and positivity

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree level, or equivalent preferably in humanities or a research based subject.
Evidence of writing excellence and complex research projects.
