Production Line Assistant Prep/Picker/Packer - Clapham North Station

We are looking for a hard working individual to grow in a super innovative company based in London to be mainly involved with the production line of the business. Your responsibilities will be open as there is many opportunities in the company to grow into.

Experience / Skills

For staff working on the production lines in the underground growing production unit you job will encompasses the following duties: –

• Preparation of the growing medium


• Preparation of the growing trays


• Preparation of the benches


• Filling of the growing trays


• Sowing of the growing trays


• Moving the growing trays to the benches


• Cleaning up after sowing


• Harvesting and packing of the product


• Moving the product from the growing packing area to dispatch


• Cleaning down the area and preparing for new sowing


• Making up of boxes


• Chitting of the seed including, weighing seed and recording information, preparing tubs and water for soaking the seed


• Soaking the seed


• Bagging and drying the seed


• Labelling the seed


• Preparation of labels for benches

There will be other jobs and responsibilities as determined by the management team.

Full training will be given for each area of the growing operation.

The successful persons are expected to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and abide by all the company rules and regulations regarding the growing and packing of these products.

Personal protective clothing will be provided.

Hours of work will be -7.30 am-4.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

The position will require weekend and bank holiday working as part of the team.
