An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager with previous VisionPLUS experience to join one of our most innovative, fast paced and established privately owned clients within the financial services industry. As a VisionPLUS Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical projects, managing risks and issues and ensuring change meets the business objectives within the agreed timeframes and budget.
Key accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the project in order to achieve the set objectives
- Oversee the creation of the project plans and ensure they are always up-to-date to facilitate delivery and progress reporting
- Ensure delivery execution is aligned with project plans so that no resource issues are created
- Manage the execution of 3rd parties involved in the delivery of the project
- Build strong working relationships with internal business and external 3rd party counterparts and ensure their continued buy-in to the plan
- Manage project risks and issues to protect delivery
- Manage project resourcing levels on an ongoing basis
- Ensure project documentation is always up-to-date
- Ensure the change process is adhered to in order to minimise exposure to the business
- Provide weekly status updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress so that they are clear on status and can steer actions to mitigate and resolve issues/risks
- Actively manage changes to the project scope and update plans accordingly
- Support programme project & change governance structures
- Create project budget and manage spending against the project cost centre
- Create a working group structure covering key stakeholders that is constantly engaged in delivery to achieve the objectives
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
- Solid experience in retail banking, Credit Cards or Financial services industry
- Experience of deployment, rollout, implementation or upgrade of VisionPLUS software
- 5+ years of technical Project Management experience
- Strong medium to large size cross-functional team management experience
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to drive multiple parties & suppliers to deliver on defined strategies & plans
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong supplier and client management skills
- Ability to build strong and effective working relationships on an ongoing basis
- Ability to manage aggressive timelines and workload requirements
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills
