An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing award – winning tour operator has become available, the successful applicant will be part of a new and growing service team. You must have strong attention to detail, energy, and good operating and IT knowledge and aptitude. The position is a very hands-on role and the successful candidate will be passionate about organisation, driven, have direct experience of travel and clearly understand our customers’ needs. Providing high standards of sales and services for clients interested in travelling with us; looking to develop as quickly in service, knowledge and margin production and ultimately playing your part in ensuring that your team surpasses its targets.
Job Description:
*Ensuring the client experience is at its best every time, regardless of whether they book or not.
*Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all things
*Fastidiousness
*Requesting , confirming , cancelling and paying for all client holidays
*Production of documentation for your clients
*Producing , pricing and amending itineraries
*Creating and checking that welcome packs have gone to the clients prior to their return
*Other aspects of the client experience and customer touchpoints
*Expanding and developing existing product
*Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers and country tourist boards
*Researching and updating destinations , activity and hotel information
*The possibility of research trips
*Taking an active role in tam meetings
*Communicating any concerns you have to the Head of your team
*Participating in company events , sometimes outside office hours
*Supporting the marketing team with ideas for social media and PR requests
Skills Required:
*Experience of working at the bespoke end of travel
*Service experience
*Travel and product knowledge
*Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a timely fashion
*Strong communication skills
*A personable manner
The Package:
A salary of £19,000 – £22,000 plus Bonus Based Incentives, Healthcare will be offered to the successful candidate.
