Bi-Lingual French/English Marketing Executive £25-27k pa London
My client is a market leader in the world of spiritual health and well-being! As this highly successful business expands further into France, they are looking for a Marketing Executive based in the UK to support this growth through direct response acquisition activity and retention of the French customer base with customer relationship marketing.
The role – key responsibilities
- Manage the acquisition channel – work with Germany-based colleagues to ensure the optimum online (SEO, SEA, website) acquisition channels and spend for the French brand. Come up with ideas to find and target new customers in the French market including forging partnerships and affiliate activities
- Planning – define and proactively manage the annual Marketing Plan & Production Schedule for the CRM programme ensuring all dates are accurate, all deadlines are met and work with the creative, mailing house and email marketing teams to make this happen
- Ensure all DM packs & emails are approved according to deadline, working with data and mailing house through to sign off
- Work with the internal creative agency to ensure all acquisition/CRM channels and online interfaces including email & the website are optimised for the direct response
- Implement email campaigns, working with emarsys to ensure that the monthly astrology, eNewsletter, promotion teaser & follow up emails are sent out accurately and on time
- Manage all SMS campaign activity including writing the copy, deploying campaigns and reporting
Key Strengths and Experience
- Direct response marketing experience across both on and offline channels
- Ability to deliver in a target and KPI driven Marketing environment
- A minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated direct response experience ideally across both on and offline channels
- Ideally background in online subscription or member based B2C environment eg. gambling, gaming, dating, shopping
- Experience of proactively managing external suppliers and internal colleagues
- Experience of working in a retention environment on targeted segmentation campaigns
- Good eye for creative and what works in a direct response environment
- Numerate, with a good knowledge of Excel and an ability to understand and analyse results-based marketing
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle various projects, delivering to tight deadlines
- Excellent proof reading skills, with strong attention to detail
- Good presentation skills, with an ability to influence both internally and externally
Essential
- Must be fluent in both French and English
- Works on own initiative and able to deliver consistently to tight deadlines
- Highly organised individual who has excellent time management skills
- Good Powerpoint, Excel and MS Office skills
- Confident, comfortable & flexible in their approach in dealing with individuals – from psychics to partners and suppliers to colleagues in other offices
- Must be open to travel to the Paris/Berlin/Nuremburg offices if required
