FM General Manager Permanent North London
A leading provider of outsourced maintenance and facilities services is seeking an experienced General Manager to run a PFI contract for a north London hospital trust.
The Maintenance General Manager is accountable for the P & L, operational management and delivery of all facilities management services delivered within a large and significant area of responsibility. This is a hard services only contract for the hospital and as such you will have strong background in delivering hard services and ideally come from a technical background.
This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationships with senior client property team members, sound commercial/ management skills as well as entrepreneurial ability. The organisation is seeking somebody who has a track record of maximising returns from a contract and able to spot opportunities for extra projects.
Working as part of a Team, you will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the business and build strong local relationships with client representatives and internal teams.
Successful candidates will
– Have operational experience within a health care environment, and ideally experience on PFI and PPP contracts
– experience of managing large, multidiscipline maintenance teams
– Good operational, stakeholder and contract management skills.
– Understand large multi million pound health care projects.
– Be able to seek and develop new relationships that will support the business.
– Enable staff and others to reach their full potential and provide strong direction at all times.
– Understand commercial principles.
